About the hosts
Nasstar is a UK-based managed services provider with over 25 years of experience, employing around 780 staff, including 176 engineers. They deliver a broad range of services across cloud, data, AI, cybersecurity, secure networking, and managed IT, working with both private and public sector clients. In recent years, Nasstar has shifted focus away from legacy technologies to next-generation services, while restructuring its balance sheet to reduce net debt and streamline its portfolio. Their acquisition of KCOM’s National ICT services in 2021 expanded their scale and strengthened their presence in the public sector, followed by the launch of a dedicated channel business to better serve partners. With strong credentials in cloud and security and partnerships with major platforms like Microsoft and AWS, Nasstar is positioning itself for growth in the enterprise transformation market. However, the company faces challenges, including financial pressures, customer support concerns, and the need to manage internal change effectively following acquisitions and strategic pivots.
