The Sponsorship Sales Executive role at Inspired Business Media involves working with the team to identify key players in the industry to target for our inspirational events. You will be responsible for building and developing strong relationships with prospective stakeholders across big name companies such as Microsoft, Oracle, and Google.

You will nurture your pipeline through engagement touchpoints with your prospects to maximize conversion rates, passionately sell our VIP portfolio of events to senior decision-makers, and close deals to win big commission cheques. In addition, you will be responsible for driving new business and existing business revenue across our entire product portfolio.

To be successful in this role, you will need to develop a deep understanding of our value proposition and product offering. You will work closely with various teams within the business to ensure we deliver the most inspiring events that leave our customers delighted and wanting more.

Purpose of the Role:

The Marketing Executive will play a crucial role in crafting and executing marketing strategies that enhance Inspired Business Media’s presence in the B2B events and media industry. This individual will focus on delivering high-quality, targeted marketing campaigns, particularly through email marketing and data-driven strategies, to promote our summits, events, and media content to business professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement targeted marketing strategies to promote B2B Summits, Roundtables, and digital media to relevant audiences.
  • Manage and optimise email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, personalisation, and performance analysis to ensure maximum engagement and conversion rates.
  • Utilise data analytics to guide marketing strategies, making data-driven decisions to improve campaign effectiveness and ROI.
  • Produce engaging marketing content tailored to various platforms, including email, social media, and the company website, that resonates with the business audience.
  • Plan and produce content for Industry Thinkers Magazine; liaising with upcoming speakers and executives.
  • Coordinate with the sales and events teams to ensure marketing efforts align with sales objectives and event goals.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation in the B2B events space.
  • Attend and contribute to the success of events and conferences, providing marketing support and leveraging opportunities for audience engagement.
  • Maintain and update CRM systems with campaign results and customer interactions to facilitate targeted marketing efforts.
  • Handle ad-hoc marketing requests from directors and the leadership team, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive attitude.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a marketing role, ideally within the B2B events, conferences, or media industries.
  • Expertise in email marketing, including familiarity with email marketing software and best practices.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and the use of analytics tools to measure and report on campaign performance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create compelling marketing materials.
  • Highly organised with strong project management abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners.
  • Creative thinker with a proactive approach to identifying marketing opportunities and solving problems.
  • Adaptive to changing priorities and capable of handling ad-hoc requests with professionalism and agility.
