OUR STORY

INTRODUCTION

Inspired Business Media was established in 2013.

 

Directors Jason Awatar and Leigh Hussain founded the company with their brothers at home where their previous experience of organising events provided a great platform to develop new ideas and a business service that offers senior-level business leaders an opportunity to build relationships and their knowledge by joining one of the luxury events that we were producing.

 

We wanted to associate our products with luxury and quality so began to host small events at some of London’s most prestigious hotels such as The Mayfair, The Savoy, The Jumeriah and The Waldorf and as our popularity grew we moved to larger conference venues such as The O2, Twickenham Rugby Stadium and Ascot Racecourse.

 

We decided to specialise our audiences around key organisation roles such as Human Resources, Marketing and Information Technology and quickly began to understand the problems every executive within our network was facing as they would discuss this at our events. So gradually as we recruited new talented staff, we started to evolve our media division which now produces multiple digital content offerings supported by our customers such as podcasts, interviews, webinars and blogs.

 

Since our journey began we have had 7 offices and provided over 60 jobs for our local area and in 2019 we purchased our very own Grade 2 listed Mansion House with 2 acres of surrounding land which is hidden in the heart of Newport City Centre. We are investing heavily in this restoration project and in 2021 we will relocate our staff into our new workplace that we will call our home.

Inspired Business Media is a business event and digital media company that produces industry-led events and digital content for senior executives to learn and connect with other professionals from some of the world’s leading organisations.

Our business network consists of C-level executives from global giants such as Lego, Coca Cola, Disney, Subway and DHL and our clients who help our network solve their business challenges include industry technology leaders such as Google, Facebook, Dell, HP, IBM, CISCO, Adobe, Oracle and Amazon.

Our portfolio consists of over 200 events per year in North America, UK & Ireland, Europe and United Arab Emirates for industry professionals responsible for Information Technology, Information Security, Marketing, Human Resources, Facilities Management, Corporate Real Estate and Learning & Development.

Together we promote leadership and business excellence for over 3000 organisations responsible for over 15 million employees globally.

OUR LIFE, OUR HOME

KINGSHILL HOUSE, WALES, UK

Newport in South Wales, UK is our workplace we call home. Whilst our remote teams can focus on different regional events, we keep the bond strong by working closely at our Grade II Listed luxury mansion which is one of the most historical buildings in the area.

Newport is positioned in between Cardiff and Bristol and our headquarters are approximately 10 minutes walk from Newport train station and 5 minutes drive from junction 26 off the M4 motorway, our location provides an accessible place to work.

Our satellite hub offices are located in London and New York which provide our teams with flexible meeting spaces to engage with clients who work within these two major business hubs.

OUR INSPIRATIONAL GROWTH JOURNEY

When we started our business we had a vision of not only organising a conference in the UK but creating a quality business experience that we can produce in the world's most exciting cities.

A few years back our Newport based small events team finally achieved our goal and got us to Times Square, New York where we delivered 3 of our event brands in 1 day. We have since run many more events in NYC making this a flagship location for our US division along with London, Amsterdam and soon to be Dubai.

We are proud and passionate about investing in our home of Newport and to also support our local communities by fundraising for local charities and sponsoring many grassroots and senior sporting teams that include:-

Newport County (Football), Gwent Dragons (Rugby), Team Brit Racing (Motorsport), Graig United (Football), Newport Corinthians FC (Football), Lliswerry FC (Football), Rogerstone Rangers (Football), Whiteheads RC (Rugby) and Matrix Motorsport (Motorsport).

We believe that our people are the most important part of ensuring our business continues to improve and deliver for our customers. Our strong bond and team culture is promoted by us organising activities to celebrate success and to build great friendships with each other.

Team building days have included cocktail classes, theme parks, horse racing days, speed boats and dozens of team meals as we are all big food lovers!
